Painted in a realistic yet expressive style, my paintings are intended to highlight the most important moment from your wedding. You choose which scene from your day will be captured in the finest quality oil paint.
How it works:
The first step is deciding that you want to have a live wedding painter at your wedding. If you choose to reach out to me, I’ll send over information about the packages I offer and we’ll set up a short phone consultation to discuss the details of your wedding and your expectations for the painting. Once we have all of that figured out, we will both sign a contract agreeing upon the details of the painting. I also ask for a deposit of 50% to secure your booking, and the next 50% upon completion of the painting.
On the day of the wedding, I’ll show up early to set up and begin painting the background. I’ll take a photo for reference of whatever scene you choose, and will continue painting throughout the reception as entertainment for your guests. At the end of the night I’ll have the painting mostly done, ready to present to you! But it won’t quite be ready to take home yet. After the wedding, I’ll take the painting back to the studio for final touch ups, completing it within 3-6 weeks. Depending on how we initially decide you would like your painting to be delivered, I will either drop it off locally or have it shipped.
Common scenes include:
The Altar Scene, The Dip, The First Kiss, Walking Down the Aisle, or the First Dance, but the options are endless! I will work with you to determine the best way to capture your day.
